At the start of 2021, Projaide is very proud to announce the start of the program

 

«Feed our seniors».

 

For many years, Projaide had this desire to help seniors in need, both individually and personally. And it is during a pandemic, in this year 2021, that a first program in this direction is emerging.

 

The "Feed our seniors" program consists of delivering a basket of groceries directly to the residence of the senior in need. On a weekly basis, the assembly of grocery baskets is done on a personal basis, according to taste, dietary restrictions and in the quantities needed for each person. Projaide takes great care to provide everyone with the food that suits them.

 

The program manager ensures the delivery of the grocery baskets with joy, friendliness and good humor, which adds to the pleasure of each person receiving their food every week.

 

Anyone aged 65 and over, living alone or in a couple, having travel difficulties or financial difficulties can take advantage of this program. Simply;

 

  • Fill out the registration form
  • Pay a contribution of $ 7 per year for the membership card
  • Pay a contribution of $ 5 per basket of groceries, delivery included

To benefit from this program, the Membership Card is mandatory.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION AND GENERAL REGULATIONS

1. The terms of delivery, ie the day and time, will be communicated to you after agreement.

2. When applying for membership, you must provide the following documents:

Supporting documents to present during the interview

(compulsory; at least one room for each block).

Proof of identity 1/5

 

  • Health insurance
  • Driver's license
  • Photo ID
  • Passport
  • Immigration papers

Proof of residence 1/4

 

  • Driver's license
  • Hospital card
  • Lease
  • Bill in your name

Proof of income

 

  • Notice of contributions
  • Social assistance report
  • Pension statement
  • Pay statement

3. When you are accepted, you will be required to pay an annual contribution of $7 for the

Membership Card.

4. A contribution of $ 5 for the food basket, including delivery, is requested.

5. You must get 2 cooler bags with gel bags (IcePack). Projaide can provide them to you at a

cost of $ 4 per cooler bag and $ 1 per gel bag.

6. You must be present during the delivery.

7. It is not possible to deliver your food to an address other than yours.

8. The program is intended exclusively for seniors living alone or with another senior.

9. You must have a respectful attitude towards the entire team that serves you. No abusive or

aggressive behavior will be tolerated.

10. You must respect the quantity of products granted. No product can be exchanged or

replaced by another. You must politely accept or decline the products offered. If you reject a product, you must report it to a manager in order to adjust your preferences. If a product is not suitable, simply mention it politely to the manager who will make the adjustments.
